This is an appeal by Mr. and Mrs. Griff and Mr. and Mrs. Efros, who are hereinafter designated as “appellants.” The complaint is divided into three causes of action. The above named appellants, and Marr and Long, real estate brokers, and Bank of America, escrow holder, were defendants. The pertinent allegations of the first nine paragraphs of the first cause of action are: that Ross Beason (hereinafter designated as “respondent”), as trustee, “has been the owner” of certain real property; that respondent, individually, “was the owner” of the personal property described in said deposit receipt…
