The "Exa" name, Exa logo, and other Exa trademarks are property of Exa. These guidelines help our partners, developers, customers, and anyone building with Exa understand how to use and display our trademarks and copyrighted materials in your own work.
Our wordmark captures Exa's visual identity at its simplest. The logotype uses a custom typeface with clean, geometric proportions that remain consistent across all products and applications. While the mark scales freely in size, its fundamental structure stays fixed. Depending on context and brand recognition, it may appear in different configurations.

The Exa logomark represents the intersection of search and structure. The geometric hourglass form symbolizes the flow of information—data compressed, filtered, and delivered with precision. Angular lines reflect the technical foundation of our search infrastructure, while the overall shape suggests movement and transformation. It's a mark built for speed, accuracy, and the core function we serve: turning the vast web into relevant results.

Exa's color palette is built around clarity and precision. The primary blue serves as our brand anchor—bold, technical, and instantly recognizable. It conveys the reliability and accuracy that developers expect from search infrastructure. Complementing this are neutral gray and white, creating a clean, functional foundation that prioritizes readability and performance. The palette is intentionally minimal, reflecting our focus on delivering signal over noise. These colors work across interfaces, documentation, and marketing materials, maintaining consistency while letting content and functionality take center stage.

Exa's typography pairs ABC Arizona Flare as the primary typeface with ABC Diatype as secondary. Arizona Flare adds distinction with its subtle flared terminals, used for brand moments and headers. Diatype is a clean, geometric sans-serif that ensures clarity across interfaces, documentation, and technical content. Together, they balance technical precision with visual character—functional, readable, and built for a search platform.

When co-branding with partners, maintain clear spacing and visual hierarchy between logos. Give each mark enough room to preserve legibility and impact. Use approved colors and proportions for both logos—no distortion or modification. All co-branded materials require approval from both parties before use.

Exa's wallpapers capture the technical precision and visual depth of our search infrastructure. Each design translates core concepts—data flows, neural networks, semantic clustering—into abstract gradients and geometric patterns. The collection uses Exa's signature blue palette with varying intensities, from deep navy to bright electric tones, often layered with grid overlays and subtle technical motifs. These wallpapers work across desktop and mobile environments, providing a visual connection to the technology powering web-scale search while maintaining clean, focused backgrounds that don't compete with UI elements.
