In this lawyer disciplinary proceeding, a trial panel of the Disciplinary Board found that the accused violated Code of Professional Responsibility Disciplinary Rule (DR) 1-102(A)(3) (prohibiting conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit, or misrepresentation) while representing his client Moore and violated DR 2-106(A) (prohibiting excessive fees) and DR 9-101(0(4) (requiring prompt return of client property) in dealing with his clients Chesney.
