This is an appeal from a judgment, wherein the respondent was awarded damages for injuries received by him while riding as a guest on a truck owned by the appellant corporation. The accident occurred about 8 o’clock on the evening of October 10, 1931, at a point about four miles south of the Grapevine grade on the northerly portion of what is known as the Ridge Route.
