With a view to recovering damages which were alleged to have resulted from pollution of the stream running through a natural watercourse extending across farm lands owned by him, Harry Chowins, as plaintiff, instituted suit in the district court of Hughes county, Okla., against Gypsy Oil Company, a corporation, and certain other oil companies.
