Ferguson, Senior Judge:

The appellant was brought before a general court-martial convened at the First Naval District, Boston, Massachusetts, on charges alleging a conspiracy to damage the number 2 main propulsion motor of the U.S.S. Aeolus and the actual willful damage of that same engine in violation of Articles 81 and 108, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 USC §§ 881 and 908.
