Respondent Solboro Knitting Mills, Inc. (“Solboro”) is a small company in Oakdale, New York, which engages in manufacturing knitted sweaters. The company’s operations are, for the most part, seasonal, and its day-to-day business is supervised by Murray Harkavy, the president of the company, and his wife, Rita, the secretary-treasurer of the outfit, who often performs production work on the floor.
