Plaintiff commenced this action for divorce charging his wife with extreme cruelty. She answered denying plaintiff’s complaint and at the same time filed a cross-complaint alleging he had been guilty of acts constituting extreme cruelty and that within two years preceding the filing of the cross-complaint he had committed adultery with the corespondent who was named but did not answer.
