Appellant Robert Lebern Lucas, Jr. appeals from a judgment of the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York, Con. G. Cholakis, Judge, denying his motion pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2255 to have his judgment of conviction vacated. His motion was based on the district court’s failure, during his plea allocution, to inform him as to the maximum possible sentence he could receive for his crime, as required by Fed.R.Crim.P. 11.
