This action is ejectment to recover tbe N. E. £ of the N. W. £ of section 20, in town 4 S., range 18 W.; and also a right of way on the west side of tbe S. E. ¿ of tbe N. W. £ of said section. Tbe plaintiff’s right to recover depends upon tbe validity of a sale made under a foreclosure of a mortgage by advertisement, covering tbe lands in question. The mortgage was executed on June 1, 1868, by Charles R. Brown, Celinda L. Brown, Henry M. Brown, and Delia Brown^ *517to Jane G-. W. Taylor; and among other lands contained the description following:
