TAYLOR, V.C.J.
T1 In this attorney disciplinary proceeding, we must decide whether the record is *1189sufficient for our de novo consideration of the alleged professional misconduct, whether professional misconduct is established by clear and convincing evidence, and whether a twelve-month suspension is appropriate discipline. We conclude that the record is sufficient for our de novo inquiry, that there is clear and convincing evidence of professional misconduct, and that the appropriate discipline is suspension for a period of twelve months from the date this opinion becomes final.
