In this personal injury action, the defendant Frank L. Falco1 appeals from the judgment in favor of the plaintiff, Paul Catalano, following a jury trial. On appeal, the defendant claims that the court improperly (1) allowed the expert testimony of the plaintiff’s witness regarding the possibility that the *87plaintiffs condition might require surgery at some future date and (2) denied his motion for a continuance of the trial date. We affirm the judgment of the trial court.
