In this lawyer disciplinary proceeding, the only issue before us is the appropriate sanction for two acts of professional misconduct committed by the accused.

The Oregon State Bar filed a formal complaint against the accused, alleging that he had violated DR 6-101(B) (neglect of a legal matter) and DR 1-102(A)(3) (conduct involving dishonesty) of the Code of Professional Responsibility.
