In this lawyer disciplinary proceeding, the Oregon State Bar (Bar) charged the accused with violating Oregon Code of Professional Responsibility Disciplinary Rule (DR) 7-104(A)(1), which prohibits lawyers from communicating with represented parties on the subject of the representation, and DR 5-105(C), which bars former client conflicts. A trial panel of the Disciplinary Board concluded that the accused had violated both rules, and it imposed a 90-day suspension from the practice of law.
