Plaintiff, Bertha T. Edgerton, filed a complaint against defendants CNA Insurance Companies and Continental Casualty Company (“Continental”) alleging violation of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (“ERISA”), 29 U.S.C. § 1001 et seq., and seeking reinstatement of long-term disability benefits.
