This appeal is taken from a judgment awarding respondents recovery from appellants of immediate possession of a certain piece óf real property in the city and county of Los Angeles, together with damages for the withholding thereof and costs of suit. Appellant Henrietta Rodriquez is one of twelve children of Merced Castaneda, deceased, who in her lifetime and on January 2, 1923, entered into a written contract for the purchase of the real property in question with Berry McKelvey as seller, owner of the prop erty and predecessor in interest of respondents.
