CONSOLIDATED RULING ON DISCOVERY MOTIONS

The background to these lawsuits is set forth in the Court’s November 9, 1990 Ruling on defendants’ motion to dismiss, 754 F.Supp. 264. To summarize, these suits were initiated following the February 14, 1990 public announcement that quantities of benzene, a possible carcinogen, had been identified in Perrier Water. Plaintiffs have asserted claims for violations of the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO), 18 U.S.C. §§ 1961 et seq., and for breach of warranty under sections 2-313 and 2-314 of the Uniform…
