After finding that appellant B. P. had a mental disorder that rendered him dangerous to other persons, the trial court committed him to the Mental Health and Developmental Disability Services Division for a period not to exceed 180 days. B. P. appeals. Our review is de novo, State v. O’Neill, 274 Or 59, 61, 545 P2d 97 (1976), and our task is to determine whether clear and convincing evidence, ORS 426.130(l)(b)(C), supports the trial court’s findings. We reverse.
