This is an action to recover the sum of $400,000, alleged damages for breach of contract. A demurrer was interposed to the complaint and by the court sustained. The plaintiffs, electing to stand on their complaint, suffered judgment to be entered against them, and therefrom have appealed.
The only question presented for decision is whether the complaint states a cause of action. The complaint is voluminous, so that we shall review only sufficient of its allegations to make clear the reasons for the conclusion reached.
