Plaintiffs appeal from a judgment entered after defendants’ demurrer to the complaint had been sustained.
The action was instituted for the purpose of resisting payment of bonds which were sought to be made a lien upon property within a district assessed to pay for certain improvements on a portion of Hill Street, in the city of Los Angeles, and for the cost of the construction of a tunnel extending for a part of the distance traversed by it under a portion of said street.
