Plaintiff, a Delaware corporation, is the owner of oil and gas leases covering certain lands included in the corporate limits of Oklahoma City by annexation, and in a zone where the drilling of oil and gas wells is prohibited by an ordinance of the City. Plaintiff made locations and began operations for the drilling of five wells on its leases. Its drilling activities were halted by the city, with the service of notice to quit and threat of legal proceedings.
