Accused was arraigned before a general court-martial on charges and specifications alleging six offenses in violation of the Uniform Code of Military Justice. He pleaded net guilty and, after a trial on the merits, the court returned findings of guilty on three counts. He was sentenced to a bad-conduct discharge and reduction to the lowest enlisted grade. The proceedings were approved by the convening authority, and thereafter a board of review affirmed. We granted further review to consider a number of issues.
