This action was brought to recover the principal sum of $105,000, with interest, and to foreclose two mortgages and an assignment of leases given as security.

The complaint, which was filed January 29, 1930, is in the usual form. In substance it shows that plaintiff is a Massachusetts corporation with its principal place of business in Boston, and is engaged in producing natural gas and manufacturing carbon black, and acts as selling agent for other producers of carbon black.
