The findings of the Industrial Commission on which the award in question was made are as follows :

“. . . The applicant was injured while on the premises of his employer but not on the premises where he worked; . . . that from the point where the applicant sustained injury it *378was necessary for him to cross Bruce street in order to reach the building where he was employed; . . . that because of the close proximity from the point where he sustained injury to the building where he was actually employed, he was performing service growing out of and incidental to his employment within the meaning…
