This case involves an employee going to work injured in a fall on a public sidewalk. He had parked his car in the company-owned parking lot across the street from the plant premises. He had crossed the street and was walking to the factory gate to punch the time clock and report for work. He fell at the spot where the sidewalk was bisected by a railroad spur track going into the factory premises.
