In this disciplinary proceeding, the Oregon State Bar (Bar) charged the accused with one violation of DR 7-104(A)(l) (communicating with a person represented by counsel)1 and two violations of DR 7-110(B) (improper communication with a judge as to the merits of a cause)2 of the Code of Professional Responsibility (Code). A trial panel of the Disciplinary Board found the accused guilty of violating DR 7-104(A)(l) and also found the accused guilty of one count of violating DR 7-110(B).
