This appeal is by the defendant George Peak from a judgment in favor of the plaintiff in an action for the recovery of the possession of certain personal property or for the sum of $6,735.35, the value thereof, in case a delivery cannot be had, with damages and costs. The complaint was in the ordinary form of claim and delivery with certain added allegations averring that whatever possession the defendant W. S. Hatch had of said personal property was in the capacity of a warehouseman for George Peak,' and that whatever possession or claim the defendant Hartford Accident & Indemnity Company…
