Plaintiff appeals from the order sustaining a demurrer to his complaint. The main facts alleged in the complaint may be summarized thus:

From 1900 to 1922 plaintiff was the principal stockholder, the president, the general manager, and a member of the board of directors of the defendant, a corporation engaged in the manufacture and sale of malt beverages; that T. F.
