Now pending before this court are two motions for leave to file amended pleadings. The named plaintiffs, on behalf of themselves and the conditionally-certified plaintiff class (together “the plaintiffs”), seek leave to file an amended summons and complaint to correct a misnomer. 1 Defendants S.C.C.P. Painting Contractors (“SCCP”) and Ascenzo Sulmonte (together “the defendants”) seek leave to amend their answer to add two defenses.
