Plaintiffs bring this opt-in class action on behalf of former employees of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA or Agency). 4th Am. Compl., ECF No. 44-1, at ¶¶ 1, 7. The VA allegedly miscalculated lump sums for accrued and accumulated annual leave paid to the employees upon their separation from federal service on or after April 7,1993. Id. at ¶¶ 1-3, 7.
