THE COURT.

Appeal from a judgment for the plaintiff in an action to recover damages for personal injuries sustained in a collision between two automobiles.

The plaintiff was riding as a guest in the rear seat of an automobile driven by her brother, the defendant Brown. Brown was driving easterly along Hubbard Street in the city of Santa Cruz and approaching the intersection of that street with Market Street. Hubbard Street enters Market Street from the west, but it does not continue across the intersection. Berkeley Way forms an intersection with Market Street about fourteen feet southerly from…
