This appeal is from the same judgment involved in L. A. No. 12102, this day decided (ante, p. 124 [17 Pac. (2d) 709]). The present appeal, however, is prosecuted by the defendant from that portion of the judgment adverse to it, while L. A. No. 12102 was an appeal by the plaintiff on the judgment-roll from that portion of the judgment adverse to it. The present appeal is by the alternative method, so that the entire record is before us.
