WEXLER, District Judge:

In this action Plaintiff Dawn Borum (“Borum” or “Plaintiff’), a detective with the Police Department for the Village of Hempstead, alleges employment discrimination in violation of 42 U.S.C. § 1983 (“Section 1983”), and Title VII of the Civil Rights Law, 42 U.S.C. § 2000e-2 (“Title VII”). Plaintiff also claims employment discrimination in violation of Section 296 of the New York State Executive Law (the “State Human Rights Law”).
