PALMER, J.
The plaintiff, Frank Chimblo,1 brought this action against the defendant, Rosalie C. Monahan, seeking damages arising out of certain alleged improprieties by the defendant in connection with the sale of certain properties in which the plaintiff and his father, August D. Chimblo, Sr., among others, purportedly had an interest. The trial court granted the defendant’s motion to dismiss the action for lack of personal jurisdiction and rendered judgment thereon from which the plaintiff appealed to the Appellate Court.
