Plaintiffs are present or former police officers of defendant city of Modesto. They appeal from a judgment of dismissal following the sustaining without leave to amend of a demurrer to the first amended complaint in their action seeking payment in money for holidays worked and, as to two of such plaintiffs, for vacations accrued but not taken. We have concluded that those plaintiffs whose city employment has terminated and who filed timely claims under provisions of the city charter have stated a cause of action.
