About 10:30 in the evening of May 8, 1936, in Marine on the St. Croix, Warren Ekdahl met instant death and James Schorr Avas severely shocked and burned when a wire cable Avhich they Avere pulling contacted a high-tension electric transmission line of defendant. Ekdahl avus almost 15 years and Schorr one year older. They Avill hereinafter be referred to as Warren and Jim, the names the Avitnesses used in the trial.
