The warrant upon which the defendant was tried was entitled North Carolina Uniform Traffic Ticket. It charged that on or about 21 August 1966, on RPR-2183 in the vicinity of Asheboro, in Ran dolph County, the defendant “. . . did unlawfully and willfully operate the above-described motor vehicle on a street or highway of North Carolina.” It continues as follows:
