CALVERT, Chief Justice.

This is a suit for damages for personal injuries brought by Louis S. Miller, who- will be referred to in this opinion as plaintiff, against Shirley Kaufman, to be referred to as defendant. The suit grew out of a motor vehicle collision on July 15, 1961. The case was submitted to a jury on a number of special issues. Based on the jury’s verdict, the trial court rendered judgment awarding the plaintiff a recovery of $25,000. The court of civil appeals affirmed. 405 S.W.2d 820.
