This is a dispute concerning the respective rights of the parties to range their cattle and sheep respectively upon the territory described in the complaint. Such controversies are not new, as we read in the book of Genesis that “there was a strife between the herdmen of Abram’s cattle and the herd-men of Lot’s cattle” each contending that the range was being overpastured.
