SULLIVAN, Judge:
In December of 1994, at Travis Air Force Base, California, appellant, a technical sergeant (E-6), was tried by a general court-martial composed of officer and enlisted members. Pursuant to his pleas, he was found guilty of one specification of wrongfully using cocaine, in violation of Article 112a, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 USC § 912a. He was sentenced to a bad-conduct discharge, confinement for 90 days, and reduction in grade to E-4.
