This case- — here on petition — presents several problems in the area of cross-examination. A general court-martial sitting in Japan found the accused guilty of robbery and of aggravated assault — in violation of the Uniform Code of Military Justice, Articles 122 and 128, 50 USC §§716 and 722, respectively. He was sentenced to receive a dishonorable discharge, as well as to total forfeitures and confinement at hard labor for two years.
