The defendant in this foreclosure action, God’s Comer Church, Inc., 1 appeals from the judgment of the trial court dismissing its motion to determine the debt owed to the plaintiff, the city of New Haven. The defendant claims that the court improperly (1) concluded that it lacked subject matter jurisdiction to address the defendant’s motion because the plaintiff had filed a satisfaction of judgment and (2) failed to hold an evidentiary hearing on the defendant’s claim that the plaintiff had been unjustly enriched by the defendant’s overpayment in redeeming the property.
