Connecticut Appellate Court

1Opinion of the CourtDupont, C. J.

This appeal is taken by Zoltán Gutt-man, one of the defendants1 in a foreclosure action, from a deficiency judgment rendered against him.

Guttman raises two claims. First, he claims that General Statutes § 49-14,2 Connecticut’s deficiency judg*200ment statute, violates his state constitutional right to trial by jury by limiting the determination of damages to a court hearing. Second, he claims that the trial court improperly concluded that the plaintiff mortgagee acted reasonably despite an allegedly considerable delay in proceeding to judgment. We affirm the decision of the trial court.
