Plaintiff brought this action to recover damages against the defendants for alleged negligence in the treatment of an injured eye. The jury returned a verdict in favor of the plaintiff for $29,850.00. Judgment was entered upon the verdict and the defendants have appealed. It is alleged in the complaint that on February 6, 1927, the plaintiff, Donald Plunder, while whittling a piece of wood, pierced his left eye with the blade of a knife and thereby seriously injured such eye; that thereupon and on the same day the father and mother of said Donald Plunder took him to the…
