When a team of three companies lost a federal contract, litigation in the Superior Court of the District of Columbia ensued. Portfolio Mgmt. Group, Ltd. v. Tom Sawyer Prod., Inc., No. 34-07 (D.C.Super. Ct. filed June 23, 2007). Sued for an alleged breach of contract, the defendant in Superior Court became a Plaintiff in federal court, suing one of the former teammates and its president for alleged tortious interference with contractual relations.
