MacMillan1 appeals, and the defendants Harrison Scott Higgins and *263Linda Park Higgins2 cross appeal, from the judgment of the trial court, adopting the findings and recommendations of the attorney trial referee (referee) in this action to foreclose a mechanic’s lien.
