COZORT, Judge.

The defendant was tried upon indictments, proper in form, charging him with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill Marvin Hardy, his former wife’s boyfriend; assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury on Margie Bryant, his former wife; and discharging a firearm into an occupied vehicle. He was acquitted of the assault on Hardy and convicted of assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury upon Margie Bryant and discharging a firearm into an occupied vehicle. On appeal he contends he was entitled to an instruction on self-defense…
