Appellant James A. Neal, in his official capacity as Executive Director of the Arkansas Supreme Court Committee on Professional Conduct, appeals the order of the Pulaski County Circuit Court suspending Appellee Charles Dawson Matthew’s license to practice law for a period of fourteen months. Mr. Neal sets forth three points for reversal: (1) that the evidence warranted disbarment; (2) that the trial court lacked the authority to order that the suspension was retroactive; and (3) that the trial court lacked the authority to reinstate Appellee’s law license.
