Mathilda Waechter, (hereinafter called the petitioner,) widow of Louis Waechter, filed with the Industrial Commission an application for compensation under the Workmen’s Compensation act against her husband’s employer, the Plano Foundry Company, (hereinafter called the company,) on account of the death of her husband. She later filed an amended claim making the American Mutual Liability Insurance Company of Boston (hereinafter called the insurance company) an additional respondent.
