The State’s Attorney filed an information against the defendant alleging that, without a permit therefor, he sold or kept for sale certain alcoholic liquors contrary to the provisions of the General Statutes, Cum. Sup. 1933, § 737b. This statute reads as follows: “disposing of liquors without, or contrary to permit.
